With the number of surplus cruise ships in the Med and the English channel of late it would make sense for them to be requisitioned & used as fast track processing centres (at anchor in international waters) for all boat-hoppers trying to barge their way into EU/UK. All unsuccessful applicants (the 99% abusing the 'refugee/asylum' process) can then be backloaded to N Africa/France or their country of origin (at their own expense) or to the nearest UN facility where they can join the queue of genuine applicants.

Your argument has been posted many times by various posters in one form or another, none with reasonable thoughts on how to implement.

I would be interested to read the report from a credible source that states 99% of people claiming asylum are fraudulent. As fast track processing hasn't been achieved after all these years, what going to be different now to expedite the process, who will fund and resource? Which countries will accept additional genuine refugees - currently there are millions - holding for resettlement could be decades, whilst places are sought for relocation, who will fund and resource? Which countries have government to government agreements in place to accept rejected asylum seekers and so on.

To assist your thought processes, some facts to consider. As an example...

Currently there are 26 million refugees, 107,800 were resettled last year by UNHCR.
