When a newly appointed finance minister abruptly leaves his post—it should create a red flag situation for international currency traders and investors.  Yet, the Baht marches ever upward, to the detriment of the economy.  Amazing Thailand.

The THB is not a heavily traded currency - so international currency traders are not really that interested. As for international investors, Thailand is semi-uninvestable at present due to the self-imposed economic stress. So the THB is likely to remain fairly strong unless the BoT starts to push it down.

With the monumental loss of face coming when the economy implodes it's no wonder no Thai wants the job. Give it to a TVF expert.

They seem to have some difficulties to find and keep a finance minister

maybe nobody want to be the scapegoat when eventually the $hit will hit the fan

Its hard to find a minister who can count above 10. They only usually practice, one for him, two for me,

I think you are referring to the other guy named Thamanat Prompao who was convicted of heroin trafficking in Australia.

They both have questionable qualifications. I was suggesting they could do some North Korean Government style exports  to Australia together
