Police Clearance

I used to stay in TH on a mix of Non-B and TR visas over the past years, but was caught out of TH because of Covid. Now, I do require a police clearance from Thailand since I spent so much time there in the past. Is there a way to receive a this document from Thai Police or Immigration while not in the country and how would i need to go about this? I value your input very much. Thanks in advance.

Never heard of this before. What is your nationality. Police clearance only required for certain work visas.

On the left side of their home page you will see this button     that takes you and agent that assist getting it.

Yes, very strange, never heard of this either... The only time I needed Police Clearance from both Th and original nationality was for applying for PR and for a job in Vietnam....As far as I know you have to get it personally at the SID BKK...

If outside the country they will accept fingerprints done by your local police.

If in the country they can be done at a main police station.

5555555 Amazing technology.....What's even more amazing is the usage of it. In BKK prints scanned, in Pattaya still old ink and paper. According to the police here: no budget for scanner.55555

The OP is not in Thailand and is wanting to start a company where he is at now.

If I understand the website correctly, they only accept prints done at the main station in Bangkok.

Or can you go to the Amphur police station in each province?

They may of changed it. Previously the accepted them from main police stations.

Perhaps check with them about it.

I am interested to know if you were able to do this via Online. I did one in BKK last year and need a new one. I remember they need an original letter from the company in the country where it was going to be used.

 

To get a renewal I am not sure of the process online, as they have my fingerprints in BKK Headquarters already from the last one.

Sorry, can't tell you. I gave up on this as I found a way around.
