webfact Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Live RPG found by former conscript on first day of job at scrap dealers Picture: Sanook A former army conscript on his first day of employment at a scrap metal dealer, made an astonishing discovery. Among a pile of old metal Jinnawat found a rocket propelled grenade (RPG) that was still live. Nang Rong, Buriram, police in the north east of Thailand soon had the area cordoned off and the bomb experts (EOD) were called to take care of the device. Jinnawat said he was stationed in Lopburi as a conscript and left five months ago. Scrap yard owner Janjira, 31, said this was the first time that such a thing had been found there and everyone was shocked they had been working near such a device that had it exploded would have clearly been extremely dangerous. She said she would be more careful in future about the scrap she accepts. Lacessit Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I could suggest a very good use for it, but it would be against forum rules. 2
