September 21, 20205 yr Rather than the best shipping companies (although if you have a top tip feel free), I am struggling with the box to ship with. I am instructing my parents on packing for me and I am not there, so I am trying to make it as simple as possible. I can only see suitable size boxes such as these (https://www.kitepackaging.co.uk/scp/boxes/long-postal-boxes/) available to buy in bulk. Does anyone know where I can just buy one? To confirm, I am talking about in the UK.
September 21, 20205 yr If you ordered it for delivery via post or courier wouldn't it arrive boxed, that can be reused..... I've gotten baseball bats shipped here & they were boxed similarly..... EBay lists several for sale coming from India...Not sure about Amazon.... Edited September 21, 20205 yr by pgrahmm
September 22, 20205 yr Why bother with a box? A cricket bat is hardly a delicate item. Plenty of bubble-wrap and tape to protect the surface then thick black plastic overall (my parents use giant bin-liners). They also label the inner packing just in case the outer gets damaged (it never has been). Stick on the paperwork and you're good to go. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

But certainly with DHL they do the quote based on box size. Which courier did you use? And what did you pay if you don't mind me asking. Cheers

Everything comes Royal Mail / Parcel Force plenty of options tracked and untracked. Packages charged by weight (there are size limits of course). "I don't want to know why you can't. September 22, 20205 yr I am curious why it is such a special bat that you will bring from UK. Sounds like some story behind it.
