Overseas Inbound Mail update

For those interested members, Firstly, I have just received a package from Australia (Perth) which was sent via Australia Post "International Fast Delivery" service which, due to the scarcity of international flights to Thailand, took 11 days to get here. It contained some vitamins, but was not inspected by or delayed by Customs here, and no duties or taxes to be paid (NB. Keep the declared value under $US40)

Secondly, I received ( on the same day, same m/c delivery guy as above item), a letter sent from Hong Kong via Hong Kong Speed Post (EMS) and took 5 days from Posting there to delivery here.

So it does work.

Funnily, both items cost the same to send ( about $US20) from countries 2 hours away (by air) and 7 hours away.
