End of Bhuddist Lent, conflicting dates

Featured Replies

For End of Bhuddist Lent there are conflicting dates on the net.

Some show Thursday, Oct 1 (incl Thaivisa calendar), others show Friday, Oct 2.

Oct 2 seems the correct date to me as the usual wall calendars and my reference on the net (myhora.com) show this:

It's NOT a public holiday.

So the effect for most expats here refrains to the alcohol sale prohibited/bar closure (the rest of them).

Oct. 2 on my calendar, but it is not a statutory holiday.
