The Cabinet approved allocation of Bt204 million from the 2020 central budget to fund emergency disease controls in case Covid-19 infections surge.

The money will be used by the Public Health Ministry if a second wave of the virus hits Thailand.

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) reported five new cases, all found in state quarantine, over a 24-hour period on Tuesday.

Meanwhile the Cabinet also approved in principle the Interior Ministry's proposal to add Covid-19 to the list of diseases controlled under Section 12 of the immigration law.

The move will ban Covid-19 patients from entering or settling in Thailand.

Never mind a second wave, what are they going to do in the second week with such a low amount?

Wonder if that will eventually lead to a 'no vaccination no immigration' approach to visas

if people with no money but using a crooked AGENT + corrupted IO can get a retirement visa

but people following the rules need 800k when applying and never go under 400k

i'm pretty sure a solution will be find for this "no vaccination"
