OOOOOOO KKKKKKK, you win, ????...................????

QED - the object of an argument is to make progress not to "win" you haven't even got that element.

These are not "insults", they are observations based on your postings. You are being "offended" by your own comments

Thai folk all like dogs, usually for security purposes, they make a noise. But, many let them out on the streets to cr_p and rummage around. I reckon many don't return, the packs I have seen roaming, some have collars.....

Sadly, there is neither the money, but more importantly the will to deal with the problem. Thais because of the Buddhist attitude won't put them down, leaving mass sterilisation as the only real long term solution, but that only occurs in meaninglessly small numbers. This is a story set to repeat itself again and again.

The Thai attitude is simple, if you injure the dog, its theirs and they demand compensation. If the dog injures another, then its a stray.

Thailand has several known health and safety issues, like any country.

Not MUCH is usually done, until a  flu appears from China.

Then it's a superhuman response, close the country

suffocate a large segment of the economy plunging a

few million into instant poverty. Is this starving out the soi dogs too?

^^^ Well spotted. Of course, the dog issue, road deaths, homicides etc etc are the norm and thus 'tolerated'/overlooked. The relatively benign covid - well it doesn't affect Thais by all accounts since loads of Chinese came in and hardly anyone got hurt - response is all about face.

Yes, and it makes the crocodiles happy.
