I'm a USA citizen who lost a passport a few weeks ago.

I now have a new American passport, how do I transfer the old stamps when I don't have the old passport?

Should I do this at Chaengwattana or Muang Thong Thani?

I have photos of my original entry date (feb 9), and my Covid April extension stamps, so I will print those out.

Has anyone does this without an old passport?

If you are here on a 30 days Visa exempt or a 60 days tourist Visa, there's not so many stamps to transfer. Did you report your passport and departure card = TM6 as lost at the police? CW might ask to see a report.

It's always wise to scan all pages in and send yourself an e-mail. Then you;ll have access to it wherever you are.

I do the same with all important documents from transcripts to TL and DL.

At some Immigration offices, yes. Even for a simple thing as the TM6-card. That's why I said CW 'might' ask for it. You're here as a tourist and during an amnesty, it might make it easier. As I said, not much to transfer to a new passport.

Well, on the appointment booking site it says the k-counter is for extensions, and I also want to do an extension.  Perhaps I can book an appointment there next week, do the transfer of visa stamps to the new passport, and then also get the "under consideration" extension process going since I plan on staying in Thailand into November for sure.

I'll just wait for embassy letter on the new passport (for extending under covid circumstances).  I already have the embassy letter for transfer of visa stamps from the lost passport.
