Need to replace front gate motor & gears

Featured Replies

The setup I currently have is getting misaligned every few weeks and starts making loud grinding noises. Hoping there's a different option available. Current setup is a motor at ground level with gear that fits in to a long strip along the bottom of the gate. Would appreciate some referrals!

was having problems and replaced my motor and wheels.  Turned out the new motor and wheels were both a little higher than the old set up. The mechanic worked by himself, put a shim over the wheels to raise the gate to the proper height (less that an inch higher), and installed and wired the motor into the existing wire to the switch inside the house.  And gave us 3 remotes. Turns out the sort of new remotes I got a while ago after a repair also worked.  So now we have lots of remotes and a great gate opener.   You can read the telephone numbers off the photos and give them a call.

Plus the PDF file bill has his number on it and the other PDF file shows the motor details.
