800,000 Bht Retirment Funds.

Featured Replies

Hi folks.

Can anyone help. I was wondering does anyone know, if you still need, 800,000 bht deposited in bank account or 65,000 bht per month,

if you own property in Thailand. Best regards jb1.

'fraid so Jim, the days when owning property could assist with getting a visa are long gone :o

Also the 800k has to be in the account for 3 months before your application :D :D

Crossy is correct about property not counting anymore. If you only have say an income of only 40,000 per month then the amount in the bank should be the difference of 65,000 minus the 40,000 times 12 or 300,000. Hope that makes sense to you.

Hiya Rdrokit.

Thanks for that for that. I take it the balance of 300,000 to use your figures. Would still need to be in bank

for three months. Best regards jb1.

Do you know what exchange rate they use to calculate the monthly income, because if it's the same as the ATM rate, there would be quite a difference?
