My ex-BIL, who is a RTP Lt Col, believes they were outed because of their true loyalties towards the protestors and they were not loyal to the faction in power.  He says over half of those he knows are not aligned with this Government on there way of treating the common man.

You're getting very warm. They were dismissed within hours of a motorcade sailing past a line of protesters giving the 3 fingered salute and shouting "awk pi" (get out) at the occupants. The police had previously been told to clear the road of everyone apart from people wearing yellow shirts. They failed to do this, deliberately IMO.

Almost the same thing as they made someone mad and were punished. Big Joke was removed and scolded.

It is wonderful to see at least some of the Police standing with the people of Thailand. The people of Thailand demand democracy and freedom of speech.

 

The PM seem to be a puppet of China, which has a clear track record of suppressing democracy and freedom of speech.

 

It seems Thailand is heading to become another satellite state of China.

 

 

News conference on now with Prayut, and his crew.  Prayut, little fattie, and Anutin not wearing masks.  Anutin with a big smug look on his smirking face when Prayut gave a news person a scathing and terse comment after a question was asked.  He then waved his hands as if dismissing them like ants.  Such professionalism in play..

 

He has related that the Foreign Ministry will explain, to the diplomatic community, the need to declare the state of emergency in Bangkok so that they could restore peace in the country.  He basically stated that the Government cannot allow violations of the law to continue unchecked.

 

All this Government is doing is ratcheting up the rhetoric and creating a dialogue.  They need to dial it back and meet with the aggrieved parties instead of threatening them with life in prison.  But then that is just my opinion.

Senior officials are always moved to inactive posts, as was Big Joke. These guys were summarily dismissed. Unheard of for such senior officers. They made someone in a very senior position very mad. I saw the video, he was apoplectic. His chin was literally on his chest. He's one guy you don't want to get on the wrong side of. I'm surprised that they weren't found in the Mekong, as others have.
