Thailand and Laos to allocate radio waves along their border

Thailand and Laos will jointly hold a technical conference on the operation and allocation of radio waves along the Thai-Laos border.

The National Telecommunication Commission of Thailand (NTC) will host a conference called “The Joint Technical Committee on Coordination and Assignment of Frequencies along Thailand-Laos Common Border - JTC”. The conference will take place between May 2nd – 9th at the Grand Royal Ball Room 2 of the Charoensri Grand Royal Hotel, Udon Thani Province.

The delegates are representatives of both government and private organizations responsible for telecommunication affairs. The Thai delegates will be led by NTC’s Secretary-General Suranand Wongwithayakamjorn (สุรนันท์ วงศ์วิทยากำจร).

The JTC Conference has an objective to create cooperation on the use of radio waves along the Thai-Lao border line and foster relations among telecommunication agencies in the two countries.
