Extension of 90 day Non Imm O

Featured Replies

I am currently in Thailand on a 90 day single entry Non Imm O issued in the UK.

What are my options for extending ?

If married to or the parent of a Thai you can apply for 60 day extension to visit them.

You could also apply for a one year extension of stay based upon marriage or retirement.

There is also a 60 day extension that can be applied for now.

Hi

Im also here in Thailand in Non-O 90 days visa. But the thai embassy back home in Nepal had told me that i can extend this visa twice for 90-90 days Total 270 days, but im confused here. My visa expires on 22nd dec. Plz advice.

There is not 90 day extension you can apply for. You got incorrect info from the embassy.

The date you visa expires means nothing now since you are in the country it only the last day you can use if for entry to the country.

The only day that is important is when your 90 day permit to stay your visa allowed.

I have a Non immigrant O multi entry that is good until March 2021. Usually I would cross the border and get 90 more days. But now I cannot do that. How do I proceed. I want to use this visa until at least March.

Your option is to extend on an annual basis by reason of marriage or retirement. If you have not already done so you can get 60 day extension to visit wife for current entry.

So that's it. 60 more days and then a Marriage visa unless the borders open?

That sucks, but I guess its time to change.

That's it..no way to activate 90 day entry without leaving Thailand AND returning.

Just my 2 bobs worth. Obtain you 60 days as @tonray suggested. Move to annual extension based on marriage. That will require 400k in bank for 2 months prior to application + under consideration period ~ 3 weeks. After that you can use the money and remain in los for next 12 months.

This covid <deleted> not moving on anytime soon.

Good luck.
