Bangkok: Four star hotel for only 7,425 baht a MONTH - utilities/net free!

Daily News reported that chatter online was rife after the Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok announced a super deal on Facebook that meant you could stay in their four star establishment for as little as 7,425 baht a month.

No Covid-19 cases in first two groups of special tourist visa travellers

There have been no cases of Covid-19 among the first groups of travellers who arrived in Thailand on the Special Tourist Visa (STV) on October 20 and 24, the Department of Disease Control (DDC) said on Monday.

PHUKET: Police have yet to identify a man who died in a collision between two motorbikes on Route 4027 through Pa Khlok last night (Nov 9). Three other people were injured in the collision.

Two villages in Sa Kaew province declared epidemic zones after pigs die of PRRS

The Sa Kaew provincial livestock office has declared two villages in Tambon Nong Wa, of Khao Chakan district, temporary epidemic zones after breeding pigs in several farms died of a viral disease, identified as Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS).

Three provinces continue struggling with severe flooding

The flood crisis in Nakhon Ratchasima, Suphanburi and Chumphon is showing no signs of improvement, with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reporting on Tuesday that flooding has claimed 11 lives and injured four others.

Cabinet okays price-guarantee scheme for rice farmers

The 39 people in Chiang Mai who were suspected of having close contact with a Covid-19 infected Indian man between October 30 and November 2 have all tested negative, Dr Kittiphan Chalom, Chiang Mai’s assistant public health officer, said on Tuesday.
