Boris Johnson has to stop playing games and agree a deal with Europe

"Britain must accept whatever it is offered, it can’t afford not to. The EU is stronger, it has Biden on its side – and it’s right"

I wonder if his selfishness is stronger than the fate of his country. Or simple: Boris first or Britain first. I think without his orange fellow overseas he has to think twice.

I'm glad Biden will remember his roots in IRELAND.

If Europe won't agree a sensible deal then it's stalemate. The majority of UK (mostly English) citizens believe they have been bullied for too long by Europe. Change is needed.

Posturing and bluster is what politics is all about, and in Trump and Johnson you have the masters of bluster and posturing. What they seem to forget is that they were elected to protect, and improve, the lives of the citizens of their countries.

Sure.

The EU is going to want to exact some sort of punishment for the UK wanting to leave that will discourage other members from following the same route.

What needs to be brought out into the open is who is offering what and why is the offer being rejected. Secondly, are the disagreements really that big or are they being inflated out of proportion in the political spate between the Tories and Labour in their attempts to appease an increasingly frustrated and concerned citizenry who might not ever have been fully informed about the consequences of Brexit.

Which brings be back to my posturing statement.
