Thailand's immigration bureau chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang announced the arrest of a Thai ladyboy who had a ten year history of ripping off Japanese businessmen and tourists in Bangkok.

Over the years there have been 70 victims of Uthai Nanthakhan who has stolen 6 million baht through fraud and theft.

He was arrested in Sukhumvit Road Soi 81 in a joint operation by Thong Lo police and immigration.

The suspect had been in jail three times and got out from his latest spell behind bars on August 1st. Since then he had returned to his old ways and racked up ten more victims for 300,000 baht.

Uthai's modus operandi was to strike up a friendship with the Japanese men by saying that he was a Taiwanese woman visiting Thailand who had lost her passport and possessions and needed help.

After the victims helped "her" it was impossible to contact her again.

Uthai has been charged with fraud by posing as someone else and detained.

A ten year history of committing this kind of crime... Obviously the punishment is not hard enough to achieve an attitude adjustment.

Is that you in IDC?

They didn't know it was a LB of course and certainly did not have any 'relations'!

It seems jail is only an occupational hazard for this person.

For this one it was not enough with change of gender. Instead fell on the foolish act of chaning home country. How silly!

Do you think there is any chance he does it so he can get caught and sent to a male prison?

Maybe the Ladyboys oral skills in Japanese were convincing?

Unwell Buffaloes demand an apology or will file thai slander laws, once buffalo representation is obtained....

"Your honor the defendant was rumored to be saying of my clients that the sick buffalo sounded "like a lot of bull"....as my client has been out of work and had to close her shop that sold homemade "buffalo chips"....
