Where does it state that the alien must return to immigration post 3 months of extension and show 800k in bank.

The vast majority of imm offices check this requirement at your next extension.

Told you I might have missed something again.

While the document (extract from Immigration Police Order) does not state a return trip is necessary, it does state that the 800k must be kept on deposit for 3 months afterward.  How the Immigration Offices verify that requirement is within their purview.  Jomtien chooses to require a return trip 90 days after to show evidence it has been met whereas most of the other Immigration Offices choose to verify it at the time of the next application for renewal.

That said, if someone chose not to return 90 days from date of extension to show their bank book, I doubt Jomtien Immigration would ever know as they make no record of the return and apparently have no system to track compliance.

They along with other Immigration Office require you have evidence (usually bank book) at your next extension to show that you met that requirement along with not letting the balance fall below 400k for the rest of the time up to 2 months prior to application, when it again must be at least 800k.

I think your putting nice spin by using the term "most other imm offices...."

Of the ~80 io how many are playing the Jomtien nonsense card.

Thinking vast majority would be more appropriate way to best describe the number of offices that do not require folk to report back in 3 months time with bankbook.

It's very easy for the io to check bank requirements at time of your next extension.
