webfact
Economic recovery in China key driver of improvement in Thai economy The head of the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce has indicated that a predicted improvement in the Chinese economy will have a knock on effect of improving the situation in Thailand. Narongsak Phutthspornmongkhon said that key indicators pointed to improvements in both country's economies in the first quarter of 2021. Around half of Chinese businessmen expected to see more investment in Thailand and improvements in Chinese visitors to Thailand. He said that improvements in the Chinese economy - expected by more than 60% of Chinese businessmen - would help drive improvements in the Thai economy early next year. He said that the IMF was predicting an 8.2% rise in the Chinese economy next year and 4% rise for Thailand. This compared to a worldwide average of 5.2%. Slightly less than half of Chinese businessmen put the chances of Thai economic recovery lower than the IMF predictions, however. Popular Post harada
As long as the Thais keep kowtowing to the Chinese everything will be fine, but when they stop towing the line they will end up in the same boat as Australia, a lesson for all. 5 1 1
rkidlad
And I hear from the CCP that the economy is not only back to normal in China, but actually doing very well. Might as well believe them. Wishful thinking is what will save the world's economies. What's the old proverb out of Eastern Europe? "They pretend to pay us and we pretend to work".

Sure, the coming public auctions of the bankruptcy assets of the Thai tourism industry will be flooded by Chinese "visitors". That's exactly for what the Thai government has been acting in the way they did since the outbreak of the Corona crisis. 6 1

Guderian
Think of Communist China as being similar to Nazi Germany in around 1936. With the massive buildup in their Armed Forces and sabre rattling at all the local nations, you don't need to be Nostradamus to see where this is going.
