Bangkok police nab two Uighur escapees, return them to prison in Tak

Two Uighurs who escaped from jail in Tak’s Mae Sot district twice were caught in Bangkok, while the immigration police chief in Tak has been transferred for being lax in his duties.

The two escapees were arrested in Bangkok’s Wang Thong Lang district and flown back to Tak. The two Uighur men had broken out of immigration jail in Mae Sot mid-October and were later spotted in Bangkok. Records show they had broken out of jail twice.

Meanwhile, Pol Colonel Sangkhom Tadso, chief of the Tak immigration police, has been transferred to another region for repeatedly failing in his job.

In 2017, 20 Uighur inmates had escaped from the immigration detention cell in Songkhla. The provincial immigration bureau at that time was under Sangkhom’s supervision.

There are about 11 million Uighurs, a Muslim Turkic-speaking ethnic group, living in the Chinese state of Xinjiang. Beijing has been holding more than one million members of this minority in detention camps, and is subjecting many more to intense surveillance and restrictions.

No sanctions or dismissal for repeated failure. Just moved to a different region to fail in his job there too.

And the world is mum's the word, all of the sudden all the bleeding hearts of human rights have gone deaf and dumb and all the while China is giving Australia grief at the SAS conduct in Afghanistan, what unfair world we're living world...

They'd probably love to go to Turkey. But I doubt China would appreciate it...

Yea, they're all bad, right?

They're not so much being oppressed as they're being murdered and having their organs harvested in China. But if you need to dehumanise them, well,  whatever helps you sleep at night.

Correct, but didn't they blow up the Erawan Shrine, a couple years ago?

Yes two individual  Uighurs, not all 11 million of them

One Australian terrorist killed 50 Muslims in Christchurch, that does not mean that all 25 million Australains are terrorists

.

Not sure who did it,

Anyone detained in Mae Sot would want to escape ????

Not sure who did it,

According to the Thai police they did it after Thailand send back (deported) 100 of them to China. Flying saucage do you have more inside information you want to share?

Are you sure about that? ???? Australia imported quite a few of them.

Perhaps an investigation into why they are in Thailand in the first place.  Political asylum?  Great, help them transit to the country they wish to emigrate to.  It's obvious to those that have followed their plight in China that the government there has made the conditions deplorable.

He tried to attend the meeting, but was late due to the weight of his pockets.
