Hello, I currently live in TH, and due to unforeseen circumstances I may need to sell a condo I own.

However, also due to said unforeseen circumstances, I weren't prepared for this and only have the chinot (yellow ownership document) in my home country...

Is there any way to complete an ownership transfer somehow without this document?

Thanks, p.

You must have the title deed to sell the property. There is no way around this whatsoever.

You either have the title deed couriered to you, or you report it lost and apply for a replacement.

A replacement usually takes at least two months to be issued.

It seems to me that you need the Condo Title Deed plus some person who you can grant Power of Attorney to.

Both to be in Thailand.

A competent  and trust worthy lawyer will be able to provide both of these.

Finding a buyer may  take time.

Time to sort out a lawyer.

Absolutely - I had a land office refuse to recognise a power of attorney until my lawyer went in with it and told the manager she either accepted it or go to court.
