I guess he's Covid-19 immune and doesn't need a face mask. It's not a gold bar but the first carton of 200 spliffs off his production line.

berrec
Nothing to see here folks! No corruption, just the loaning of gold watchers from each Myanmar illegal crossing the border to one Thai official for safekeeping.

spidermike007
Real men take responsibility for the mistakes they have made. They own up. So, are we looking at gross incompetence? Are we looking at total indifference? Corruption? Laziness? Total derelicton of duty, on the part of Prayuth, Prawit, Anutin, and the entire leadership? Tens of thousands of soldiers could and should be patrolling the rivers, in boats, manning many of the border areas, or just doing something. Ssem goes for navy. They should be in double duty since March. Hundreds of boats should be patrolling the coasts. There is so much more they could have done to show us that they are deserving of leading the nation. Do anything. Just don't do nothing. Earn your keep. Prove to the nation that the motto "to protect the people" actually means something. Good training for the soldiers since they have little to do anyway. Prayuth and Prawit, once again say responsibility needs to be shared. Yet they deny any responsibility for this. So, I ask. When was the last time either of them took responsibility for anything? Have either of them apologized? Have they admitted this happened on their watch, and it very possibly could have been prevented? If not, Prayuth should offer to resign immediately, and the people, and especially the youth, should demand that. It is their right to demand a competent leader, during an emergency, especially. So my message to the administration is this. Man up. Admit you messed this one up badly. Admit the border could have been controlled if you had devoted the tens of thousands of soldiers required then, instead of now. You dropped the ball. Fess up. That is what real men of honor do.
