Phuket Governor issues COVID-19 compliance order

PHUKET:-- Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew today (Dec 22) issued a formal order for all potential carriers of COVID-19 arriving in Phuket to be screened for the virus.

 

New arrivals at Phuket International Airport, at all piers and marinas and at the Phuket Check Point in Tha Chatchai must have their temperature checked in order to be allowed into the province, the order noted.

 

Officials are empowered under the order to inspect any establishments, workplaces and workers’ camps where migrant workers who may have illegally entered the country might be staying or working.

They are targeting the testing. It isn’t optional like many countries (who are failing). 
If they tell you to have a test, you have one. The last two days they have been rounding up all Burmese and a lot of Thai fishermen. 
 

No positives yet. I hope it stays that way. The new UK covid strain is a contagious disaster.

But the new Ninja Covid19 of UK is not necessarily more dangerous - even if more infectious...!

Viruses don't like to kill their host, hence they mutate, maybe it becomes a mild flu eventually, like we already have with many strains...
