She has even offered to provide free food to those who don’t have money. Her restaurant is open from 6am to 7pm daily.

Her post was applauded by other Facebook users, and some even wanted to donate her money, but she refused.

Good to see some humanity is left in Thailand, in general I have found hard working Thais to be compassionate, some up the tree seem to have lost that side of Buddhism.

Well done girl.

Now watch the Thais go round pretending to be from Burma just to get a freebie.

That could never happen , could it. :giggle:

Like Farang who pretend to be "stranded" to get a freebie at immigration

it's just the few bad apples who ruin it for everybody else.

Yes indeed, like unscrupulous Thai business persons who knowingly employ illegal migrants on much lower wages than legal migrants!!

Because the skillset of being an arrogant selfish selfcentered <deleted> is a basic requirement to get into the "up the tree" position in the first place.

Is she the wife of the taxi driver that keeps finding cash in his cab ?

Or at least he did before the tourists stopped coming.

Nice to see his missus keeping up the tradition and informing the press of such !!!

I sometimes think lazy Thai's would rather be unemployed than do the work that they count on Burmese to do!

I'm not lazy, but I think I would too.

Damn. I need to start going to your Immigration Office.

Nice gesture. Though the army and this administration are rabidly racist, I think most Thai people are decent folks.

The reality is, Thailand's economy would come grinding to a halt in 24 hours without the Burmese labor force. Most are kind, hard working folks, just trying to survive.

I've not forgotten "dirty farang", now it's dirty Burmese.

That came from this toxic administration. Not from the good people of Thailand. The government workers don't count. Their minds have been poisoned by a nationalist agenda.

Sure, there are a few bad apples out there. However, ever since Covid started, and the army started recklessly tossing around the notions about foreigners being  blamed for this, I have not detected any hostility from any non governmental Thais I have encountered.

Blame those who are the guilty ones. The heinous Thai army.

I'm aware who said "dirty farang" in first place. It was the rascist health minister and his rascist government, not the Thai people. My point was that now they have now shifted focus to another minority. Whilst it is Thais that has opened the door for these migrants to do jobs Thais don't wanna do... The people that have smuggled them in are the ones responsible for the outbreak.

Saying a entire population are bad apples in a country which you are a guest in are for me too provocative not to comment. I hope you can live with it.
