Kimberlys444 Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Hi all. I just had a concrete wall added to the patio. A worker on another project took it upon himself to paint A100 sealer on the wall before the concrete was dry. Uggh!!! ...... all kinds of irritation goes here...... So three days later, the A100 is peeling off some areas, not allowing moisture to come out from inside blocks with tons of drips. The new wall area will get wet so paint isn't a great option and the wall is 1 meter by 10- part is somewhat shielded by roof and some parts exposed to direct rain. Any solutions are much appreciated.
bankruatsteve Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 I think your best option is to just leave it alone for a month or so and then evaluate. 2
Crossy Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Probably the best practical thing to do right now is nothing, the concrete will cure eventually just give it a few weeks. Once you're happy it's cured then power wash off any remaining loose sealer rub down the rest and re-seal. Plenty of extremely durable outdoor paints available for the final finish. 2
Kwasaki Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Good advice had already and concur with what has been said. I would suggest from an aesthetic view the large wall on the left of pix when dried out and resealed to have it lined with the planks from Global house in ship-lap form. They are maintenance free and different colours, the smaller walls can be as said, coated with durable outdoor paint. 1
kamalabob2 Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 In 1991 I met a man named Ethan. He had started work in San Francisco cleaning the customer side walls and floors at http://ofarrell.com/rooms/ultra-room/ Maybe the Thai workman was a fan of the "Ultra Room" and doing a tribute to the departed Artie and Jim Mitchell.
