Who Do You Predict Will Become a Winner in 2021?

With the new year having just surfaced, it is time to turn the page on a very difficult 2020 and to look ahead.

Barring some drastic changes due to the global pandemic, 2021 will have four major championships, a Ryder Cup, the Olympics, and, of course, a ton of other tournaments spread out over 12 months.

The Masters will hopefully kick off the major season, back to its April schedule and who would not like to wear that famous green jacket.

Justin Thomas is currently back in form and would be one of the favorites that week. However, another golfer who ended 2020 on a high was Lee Westwood, and there cannot be many golfers who would not love to see him in green.

Moving into May the PGA Championship will be hosted by The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

Nine years after capturing his second major title at Kiawah Island by a whopping eight strokes, Rory McIlroy will return to the scene and has a great chance to claim his fifth major title here.

On to June and the US Open will arrive at Torrey Pines South Course, La Jolla, California.

Jon Rahm is undoubtedly the best player in the world currently without a major title, however, could that all change after the U.S. Open visits Torrey Pines in 2021.

The San Diego venue is where it all began for Rahm in 2017 when he won his first PGA Tour title in dramatic fashion on the 72nd hole. With good memories and the all-around game to pass golf's toughest test, Rahm will get it done at Torrey for his first of many majors.

We welcome back The Open in July, to be hosted by Royal St. George's Golf Club, Sandwich, England

In what will be a highly anticipated Open Championship after the event was canceled in 2020 for the first time since 1945, could England's own Tommy Fleetwood hoist the Claret Jug at Royal St. George's Golf Club.

Fleetwood possesses all the traits of an Open Championship winner: a track record of success in links golf, piercing ball flight to cut through the wind, and the right attitude if weather conditions are rough. Look out for a big year from one of Europe's most talented players.

Add to these Majors, we have the Olympics in Japan and the Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits. 2021 looks likely to be a cracker for golf fans around the World.

Let us hope that eventually the crowds will be allowed back on the course and what was missing in 2020 can return in 2021…
