Message from Burapha Golf Club Manager About Covid Precautions

Mike Mesommonta Manager at Burapha.jpg

Under Covid -19, a new order by Chonburi province has been issued to protect the spreading of Covid 19. Would expect this to be the case at all golf clubs in the region as well.

The following rules therefore will be applied for Burapha Golf Club.

Effective January 4,2021 until the situations improves, golfers must:

-Wear mask at all time during, entering the club, playing and when leaving.

-On check in, all golfers must provide your full name address, telephone number and the time of arrival.

-Your body temperature must be checked

- Any golfers checked in with a temperature of 37c or above will not be     allowed to enter the club.

-Hands must be sanitized by alcohol.

-Lockers are not allowed to be used (both lockers & showers)

-Restaurant will remain closed.

-Kiosk will be open

-Green fee Proshop is open.

And no "cuddling" the caddies

So far not had this enforced when playing (this week) and I seem to recall in the early days of Covid some medical guy said it was not good to exercise wearing a mask?

Guess it may depend if you consider playing golf as exercise or not.

Playing golf wearing a mask is dangerous, better to just not play golf there or anywhere else that requires it. It could be just words and in reality no one does it
