Cheapest method to send parcel from UK to Thailand

Featured Replies

What is the best method to send a parcel (books) from UK to Thailand that isn't too expensive - is it Royal Mail?

I would think so, and if in no rush send it surface, cheapest way but takes 2-3 months.

Just a suggestion.

Books get a special rate....or they used to.

The best way to send items to Thailand is  by courier so you can track it. Remarkably you may also find it the cheapest way too. Recently tried to send documents via Royal Mail and they said very few flights and no guarantees.  Might I suggest you look at parcelcompare  . I use them all the time rather than Royal Mail who are just so expensive now for any parcels domestic or international. These guys buy bulk  from couriers including Parcel Force aka Post office / Royal Mail. You have to consider cheapest with actually having reliability.COVID means less postal flights and sea traffic.
