Golden Triangle
I was due to have a dental appointment at a well known hospital in Pattaya today, I received my usual phone call yesterday to inform me that due to the rise in the current level of caution advised by the government/governor I could postpone my visit unless I was in pain or it was an emergency, fair enough I thought so postponed for a couple of weeks to see how things pan out. The sting in the tail was that if I did attend there would be an additional charge of Appx 500 Baht for the additional PPE for the dentist !!! When I visited my usual dentist a week or so ago she was wearing 2 masks & a visor + gloves, no additional charges leveled. For info. Regards.

mstevens
FWIW, a few months ago here on TV in New Zealand there was a report from dentists who said that the cost of PPE they were required to use was huge and they would have to add a supplementary fee to cover their costs. So it's not just in Thailand this is happening.
