Hiya folks, I'm currently on non b visa extended yearly by Married to a Thai spouse. 

 

Can u still get a work permit under this scheme or do I need to change my extention based on work?

You can can apply for a work permit and work when on a extension of stay based upon marriage to a Thai.

That has created problems for some people.

A work around is to apply for the work permit at normal work permit office instead of the one stop center in Bangkok.

If you have BOI company sponsoring your work permit (based on marriage) you need to do the administrative stuff at Chamchuri Square.
