I am in the midst of changing my Extension of Stay based on Retirement to one based on Marriage with the original Retirement Extension expiring on 19 February.

My last 90 day report was due 24 January and filed online, with the approval coming back stating to report again 15 February.

The next day, 25 January was when the application for Extension based on Marriage was submitted at Sisaket and the "under consideration" date is stamped 24 February.

I lodged the 90 day report online on Friday 12 February, and status is "pending".

Should I wait until 24 February to visit Immigration, or go asap to them, so I have all my ducks in a row?

We also had the visit from Immigration on 27 January, and they were super, said to call them 15 days later, and indicated we I could go for appointment before the 24th.

It seems a little odd they only dated your 90 day report for less than a month.

You should get the approval of the report you did on Friday today or tomorrow. If not print out the pending online report and take it with you on the 24th to prove you submitted the report.

Thanks Ubonjoe. I have the printout ready, but will keep checking the status. ????

Note that when changing the reason of stay, from retirement to marriage, your new extension will be dated from the date of application 25th Jan, rather than the expiry date of your existing retirement extension 19th Feb.

SiSaKet now reset your 90 day report date from the date of extension.

Update:

Yesterday, Immigration sent an email stating my 90 day report was "rejected".

I printed it out and filled out a TM47 manually and went to Immigration today. The Officer recognised us when we walked in and told him I wanted to file the report in person, and assumed the website rejected it as my original Extension expiry date was the 19th.

He pointed to the "under consideration" stamp and the 90 day report was not needed now and to come back on the 24th, for the Approval stamp and another year here and it would reset then.

I pushed it a little, with the wife saying just wanted to ensure all was good, but he was adamant and understanding of the concerns and said see you on 24th. Cool.

By the way, when I applied for the Extension based on Marriage, we were only there for 65 minutes, today was 2 minutes, and on both occasions, the Officer was very efficient, knowledgable and respectful.
