BANGKOK (NNT) - The Crime Suppression Division (CSD) has launched an online complaint system to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

CSD Commander Pol Maj Gen Suwat Saengnoom said the system is capable of receiving legal complaints and allowing parties to be interviewed by police online.

He added that various parties can also present documentary evidence, and such tasks could be performed in a single session.

Who better than the police to contain a medical pandemic! ????

So is this essentially a "digital snitch tool" ?

I foresee abuse by neighbors telling on other neighbors they don't like.

Next step is to get the kids to rat on their parents!

I don't see anything wrong. You only can complain about people that don't care about laws (and others).

I don't see anything wrong either. We have complained several times about large noisy parties (and maybe gambling) to the police recently and not much has been done. If these complaints go to a central office, then maybe something will be done.

Cool. I'll try it out today. My neighbor's dogs barking pi**ing me off long time.

This place has always been the hub of grasses and snitches. Nothing lower than a grass

You can complain about your neighbors if they party, but if you try to complain about Hotels or a big cooperation - you will be thrown in the "slammer" for defamation.

Tell them you think foreigners are playing music without work permits, and the police will be right around to arrest them.

You mean they can't lie ?
