I don't let anyone know I'm in Thailand, so the UK debit card gets sent to my old UK address.

Sometimes the people that live there send me a photo of it (both sides).

No need to carry the debit card, a photo is good enough for most overseas transactions.

In Thailand I have Thai debit cards, but no need to carry them either, I can use my phone app for everything including ATM transactions.

 

Not having a debit card is a sign of living in the modern world.
