Yes and Covid did wonders for the Thai hospitality industry as well. What's a few million jobs and subsequent loss of income?  Damn dude..

No chance, I'm off to quarantine free holiday!  2 weeks lock up!

more likely bangkokians and chiangmaians escaping smog for extended holidays. Also taking advantage of still cool weather.

Most of them did not have longer holidays the last year.

Those some 5k arrivals per month is less than those losing job, income in thailand and going back to home countries

Yeah it would be weird if the quarantine was doing people.
