More than 270,000 people vaccinated since start of campaign against COVID-19 on 10 February

The Ministry of Health has announced that the COVID-19 inoculation campaign has seen a total of 170,851 being inoculated against the deadly virus since the start of the campaign on 10 February until 13 March, 2021. These figures include 9,033 cases of second shots for the vaccinations.

Of the 161,818 first-time inoculations, 137,610 were vaccinated with Sinopharm vaccines while 24,208 were vaccinated AstraZeneca’s Covishield vaccines.

The Ministry of National Defense has also announced that from 10 February to 13 March, 2021, 108,648 military and other security personnel were vaccinated against COVID-19 with Sinopharm vaccines. The second injection from 25 February to 13 March, 2021 was 47,751.
