ericdk
Can someone recommend a condo very close to Lumpini Park? Budget of up to 40k. Preferably on the Wireless/Ratchamri side and not the Silom/Sathorn side. I found Klass Sarasin, which seems like what I'm looking for, but preferably I would like something a bit cheaper, so I could get a 2 bedroom. wordchild
look at soi Ruam Rudee, many low rise condos along there, some are pretty expensive but some of the older ones may offer the space you require within your budget. the soi is convenient for both the bts and Lumpini , a short motorcy (at the most) in either direction. Or a healthy lockdown walk! the end of the soi connects to the walkway that can take you to Lumpini Park

ericdk
Soi Ruamrudee seems like the best choice for sure, but also Sarasin, which has Noble Sarasin right on the park, but the soi itself seems boring, where as Soi Ruamrudee seems like a nice soi with many shops and massage places. OneZero
Try Lumpini Park View Condo. Next to the Benz dealer on Rama IV. Entrance to subway at front door.
ExpatOilWorker
Try having a look around Soi Tonson and Langsuan, better access to Central Chitlom, World, Villa and a myriad of dining options. Also the sois Mahadlek 1, 2 and 3. Velkommen til byen!

The only thing that is wrong with ur budget of 40k is that it is too high! You can find 70-90 m2 for 25-35k in the previous mentioned areas. Tag brillerne paa! The wast majority of stuff you find online is old inventory, pre-Covid. Don't be shy to offer 30k for something that is advertised for 45k.
