briofoz
Are you able to advise if a missing Brit citizen in Thailand is deceased? If you are, what is the best way to contact you?
ThailandRyan
I do not think they will pass that information onto anyone but a verified family member.

orchis
If he is "officially" missing he cannot be declared deceased. Edited March 16, 2021 by orchis

If you are, what is the best way to contact you? I'd say you would be obligated to advise if you knew a missing British citizen in Thailand was deceased. Again; it would be you who should be making contact..... What exactly is it you're trying to ask or tell us??

British Consular Team
As OJAS and ThailandRyan suggest the answer is normally no. In order to protect personal data we will normally deal only with next of kin or the person nominated to act on someone's behalf. But if you DM us the details you hold, briofoz, we can see if we have any instructions from them about sharing personal info.
