Evil Chucky has made a visit to the once thriving but presently deserted tourist area of Patong, Phuket, reported Daily News.

 

On the "Trip Ka Dolls" page were many pictures of Chucky surveying closed businesses everywhere.

 

He was at Central, a shuttered 7-Eleven and McDonald's among many roads with businesses still closed due to the complete lack of tourists because of the pandemic.

 

A clearly Google translated piece spoke of spring hopefully returning one day to the "forest of Patong" after this autumn. 

 

Plans are already in place so that vaccinated tourists will be allowed to visit Phuket without quarantine later in the year, notes Thaivisa. 

 

Maybe then Chucky will let the tourists get on with it!

When you see pictures like this, you realise just how un-touristy and un-attractive the support structure of a beach can truly be

Phuket will recover. They'll come in slow at the beginning  but they'll post amazing pictures of clean beaches and great service. That'll build up some restlessness for others to take advantage of the last days of times like these. Later on there will be a boom. The only negative is if there is violence going on on Myanmar. That might turn western people off.

The last Chucky movie I saw was ''Chucky's Seed"  guess he was looking to spread some more.

He must be divorced now and on the prowl for the next "Bride of Chucky"

Westerners can't stand their own nation's restrictions. Asia definitely will be more relaxed and that will be a reason to jump on a plane and travel abroad where you may not have to wear a mask or follow other rules if you can afford it.
