Anyone got a link to the actual requirements??

One assumes that the requirements are actually so onerous that in reality it's not going to happen.

Gemini says:

To become a Thai citizen as a foreign man married to a Thai woman, the key requirements are legal age, a lower minimum monthly income of 40,000 THB, and continuous residency in Thailand for at least 3 years. [1]

Legal and Residency Status

  • Be a legal adult (at least 20 years old) under both Thai law and your home country's law.

  • Hold a legal Non-Immigrant Visa (such as a Marriage Visa) and maintain continuous stay extensions in Thailand for at least 3 consecutive years at the time of application.

  • Have your name registered in a Thai house registration (Tabien Baan). [1, 2]. ????

Employment and Financial Proof

  • Earn a stable minimum income of at least 40,000 THB per month (reduced from the standard 80,000 THB required for applicants without family ties).

  • Hold a valid Thai work permit and provide official proof of personal income tax payments for at least 3 consecutive years. [1]

Language and Personal Conduct

  • Pass a criminal background check showing good conduct and no criminal record.

  • Demonstrate basic Thai language speaking, listening, and understanding abilities, including the ability to sing the Thai National Anthem (Phleng Chat) and Royal Anthem (Sansoen Phra Barami) during the official interview process.

Sour grapes indeed. Well done, not least for retaining a sense of humour in negotiating the bureaucracy.I'm sure you are a deservedly happy man.

My husband call MOI office just now and be informed that there were 2 small and 2 large committee meeting in the past 3 months, have you got the Oath yes? If not then you can call MOI and give them 13 digits locate in your pink card then they can check for you. Please update to group, good luck

Can you kindly post the number on which your husband called MOI? It will be a great help as so many numbers are listed and most go unanswered or the receiver has no idea about anything related to this matter.
