Thai media Naew Na made particular note of what they claimed is the trouble caused by people who drink alcohol. 

 

Their activities in spreading Covid-19 were a constant threat to people out having a jog or just enjoying the beach and its surrounding areas, they said.

 

They just stopped short of calling it "the demon drink", but only just!

 

They were reporting on a PR exercise led by Pattaya's deputy mayor Ronnakit Ekkasingh who went with a contingent of Bang Lamung officals and DOPA personnel to the beach area.

They were there yesterday to warn what the media said were the many tourists not to drink.

 

Nobody was imbibing alcohol so no action needed to be taken to uphold the rules currently in place.

    Heaven forbid if any smokers were found.

    Must be hell to live here in Thailand with all those demons drinking .
