Me too, I got the same message, I noted Joe made a remark of "within 7 days" so as I was within 7 days I just popped down to my local agent who charged 350 baht to take it to CW and do it for me.

Can I do my 90 day reporting online if my TM 6 was based on my previous passport?

My TM 6 arrival card when I entered Thailand was July 2012.

My current passport was issued September 2013.

Since then, I have reported in person to Immigration with my current passport.

You should be able to do it now.

I had the same problem as you except my entry was older and I was able to do my first online report last October.

 I was thinking of installing the app but looking at the poor ratings, I went online with the laptop instead. My report was accepted and the acceptance email received about an hour later. Downloaded, printed, folded, stapled, etc..
