Cambodia is ranked second in the ASEAN region as the country that vaccinated  people against Covid-19 quickly with an index of 12.40 percent, while Singapore ranked first with an index of 37.48 percent.

 

The report on Covid-19 vaccinations in ASEAN member countries also noted that Indonesia ranks third with a score of 6.89%, Malaysia ranks fourth with a score of 4.03%, and Laos ranks fifth. With a score of 2.53 percent, Myanmar ranks sixth with a score of 1.91 percent, Thailand ranks seventh with an index of 1.65 percent, the Philippines ranks eighth with a index of 1.61 percent, Brunei ranks ninth. With an index of 0.53 percent and Vietnam ranks 19th with an index of 0.27 percent.

 

Cambodia started vaccinating people on February 10, 2021, so far, Cambodia has vaccinated nearly 1.3 million people. Cambodia has already received nearly 4 million doses of the vaccine, most of which are aid-assisted and purchased from China. The vaccines that Cambodia has already received include: 1.3 million doses of the Chinese government-funded Sinopharm vaccine, 2 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine purchased from China, and 324,000 doses of Covak-assisted vaccine from the World Health Organization.
