New tougher Covid-19 regulation in the Thai capital bangkok and five other provinces come into force today, reported TNN.

Bangkok governor Gen Aswin Kwanmuang confirmed that only take away is allowed at restaurants and that must end by 9 pm.

No in-restaurant dining is allowed.

Sports facilities such as gyms and fitness clubs are ordered shut until further notice though outside fitness and recreation facilities can continue to operate until 9pm.

Places such as convenience stores, markets and supermarkets are allowed to open from 4am to 11pm.

All these regulations are effective in the deep red zone provinces effective today, Saturday May 1st.

Bars are staying open on our soi.....they are testing the water and seeing what action, if any, the police take.

They have set up 'take away' sections to make it look good........bars were packed last night.

You can't rule a country properly when police are corrupt.

For reference, after 2 weeks of restricted access (no lockdowns) we are now able to travel throughout most of Siem Reap, Cambodia, again-yippee!

"Siem Reap Provincial Administration this afternoon (1st May) decided to re-open the entry and exit of Sala Kamroeuk, Svay Dangkum and Siem Reap communes and two markets – Phsar Krom market and Wat Athva market with the COVID-19 situation under control"

However still big problems down south in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Kandal Provinces.
