The president of the Thoracic Society of Thailand, and head of the Department of Respiratory Diseases and Tuberculosis at Mahidol University, Dr. Nitipat Jiarakul, has voiced disagreement with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s (BMA) plan to administer the Favipiravir anti-viral drug to all COVID-19 patients in field hospitals.

PHUKET:-- The Thalang branch of Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off along a section of the east side of Thepkrasattri Rd both north and south of the Heroines Monument on Thursday (May 6) as work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand launched a campaign on Tuesday to vaccinate 50,000 people living in a crowded river-side district of the capital Bangkok, as the country tries to contain a third wave of coronavirus infections.
