Or it is too cheap and 7 Eleven sell Paracetamol?

No No, Tiffy should be handed out 24 hours before and after each jab.

Remind me again at the end of the year when foreigners can be vaccinated as it does not seem likely by July or such with the production issues now at the Lab here producing the Az vaccine, and of cour

Think the vaccine roll out should come along with a warning :   You may die of Old Age before getting your first or second jabs

i read that alcohol kills the virus.    You probably didn't need to get those shots at all

It pays to double up. Alcohol and Pfizer. If the virus can get through it, fair play to it.

This kind of overkill is the kind of thing that will prevent Thailand from being able to really ramp up its vaccination program (once they actually have a supply of vaccine, that is). Thailand also normally requires each person to be examined by a doctor prior to inoculation, which isn't typical in other countries where you just show up, read an information handout, and get an injection from a pharmacist or nurse. Making the process seem complicated and dangerous doesn't help anyone.

should avoid heavy exercise two days before and after your vaccination

Can manage that one - so now where do I go for the jab?

I can't even find where to sign-up yet.. let alone get a jab.

Also maybe Aspirin. It's a blood thinner. Might help against potential blood clots.

The clotting after the vaccination is an immune response and aspirin won’t resolve that. Worse, because often the clotting is accompanied with very low platelets, there is a good chance you’ll start to bleed out internally. So, NO, DO NOT TAKE ASPIRIN BEFORE OR AFTER THE VACCINE.

LOL..........still selling the dream, its good to see, they could also produce a guideline similar to this which advises you on what to do after you have won the lottery as you probably have the same probability of both ????

The Indian variant has now arrived in Thailand, noted for its ability to kill the 30 and 40 year olds at a much higher rate than the other variants. There are rumours and posts abounding that hospital spaces are becoming unavailable and people are having to travel a long way to find a bed, does any of this not ring alarm bells?

Their advice should be "get a plane ticket home".  Of course people will hang on in there hoping for the best and then complain like hell when Thailand is red listed and they have to undergo expensive hotel quarantine in their home country but all the clues are there, if you can't process them then good luck to you ????

Zero covid deaths reported in UK yesterday, I have never vacationed anywhere except Thailand since 2005, but this year and next year I am changing my destination. As the saying goes, smile things could be worse, and they were ????

Thais do seem to like a bit of drama and a big bag of assorted pills!

It's all academic anyway seeing as there's virtually <deleted> all injections to be had and your average farang sure as hell ain't getting any of them!!!

Yep, they do seem to happy to come hone with a bag of tablets for a common cold.

What about praying before and long after that you will have no complications.

I wonder what research the recommendations are made on.

An article in which experts in this field of research were interviewed notes that the pandemic could be amplifying risk factors, but it is possible to do some simple things to maximize the vaccine's initial effectiveness. One strategy suggested is to "engage in vigorous exercise and get a good night's sleep in the 24 hours before vaccination so that your immune system is operating at peak performance. This may help ensure that the best and strongest immune response happens as quickly as possible." (Assoc Psych Sci January 13, 2021).

Other experts recommend that people getting vaccinated — especially those who are older — ensure adequate nutritional status before and after getting the shot to increase the chance of protection. The experts suggest that people over 70 years old consider taking a multivitamin and mineral supplement for weeks before and after vaccination (exact duration not specified) (Rayman, Br J Nutr 2021). Previous research in people 65 to 85 years-old receiving tetanus vaccinations showed that getting five or more servings of fruits and vegetables per day for 12 weeks before and four weeks after vaccination improved response compared to getting two servings or less per day (Gibson, Am J Clin Nutr 2012).

Rubbish, I am 79 years old, got my 2 jabs on March 11 and April 16. Didn't take any multivitamin or mineral supplement and lived my life as ever before. No side effects no pain nothing and still feeling well.

I'm in the UK, went from work for first vaccination, then straight back to work, highway maintenance.

No problem.

They do  like to over dramatise, probably  give you a  bag full of paracetomol, aspirin, ibuprofene, sticky plasters, arm sling, crutches etc . Everytime Iv'e  been to a hospital here they always give me a  bag full of that stuff, I give it them right back.
