May 17, 20215 yr I'm in Isaan (Sakon Nakhon) and I have to drive to Bangkok (Bang Rak, Sathon, Yan Nawa area) to visit my embassy. I don't watch the news and I'm not sure if I can currently enter Bangkok and within 2 days return back? I can postpone it about 3 weeks, how would eventually situation look then?
May 18, 20215 yr You may have to quarantine at home for 2 weeks after returning. This may be enforced by local health workers. Check with your provincial authorities or TAT in your province every province has its own rules.

May 18, 20215 yr Get someone to check with local authority before coming. We had to do 14 days self isolation in the Tak province
May 19, 20215 yr What's this "self-isolation"? Can walk to 7-11? If so, then can you go to the store next door, and maybe get something during your walk? What if the walk is 5 km to 7-11, can you then turn it into a day trip? i've heard people tell others they've been here 1 month, but just checked in yesterday. i'm a little sus over this self-isolation thing....

Cannot leave your building. Obviously, cannot go to a shop, cannot buy things. Enforcement may vary. In addition to health workers, neighbours might watch you (and alert authorities if you go to a shop). There may be penalties, again, depending on province.
