george
Turn off the consumer box for 20 minutes, and turn it on again. Seems like you have two connections going on at the same time.

croftrobin
My service was fine until last week (after the LNB on the dish was changed 6 weeks ago). On Wednesday/Thursday signal strength was 73 and a high signal to noise ratio - then it dropped like a stone and sig. strentgh would not settle. Only turning off the consumer unit for 4 hours and then reconnecting allowed the service to reconnect. I initially thought the problems were rain related but the same problems on a clear sunny morning disproved this theory! One visit later from the Engineer, on Monday (2 days late albeit!) and I have a new Consumer Unit and an new IP address. All is fine now and I have a sig strength of 77 - the highest I have yet seen. This was the 4 rth call out in 14 Months. In general the service is fine - but I think the kit can be a bit tempremental. If you suspect a problem just get on the phone to the helpdesk. Ok you have to let them run you through the switch off etc procedure and call back - but if you comply with this then they seem happy to arrange a call out. I'm in Buriram province and the last engineer drove up direct from Bangkok so they are not shy to travel. I think that the support on the service has improved in the last 4 months. dingfishingtours
Hi issan2, hows your ipstar now?Mine been nearly unuseable this week with the same messages as yourself and no signal strength when I check my login status.Today Ive been on 2 hours without trouble. Im reluctant to get the engineers down again as I have to pay for their ferries.Even though I make them come on the overnight cargo boats to Koh Tao-both ways- its still +1000baht.Any charge when they come to visit you?
