Caution issued for ice consumption following COVID-19 infections at ice factories

Following the reported emergence of clusters of COVID-19 infections at ice factories in Samut Prakan and Chon Buri provinces, the Health Department is advising consumers to choose ice cubes which are properly packed, sealed and with good manufacturing practice (GMP) certification.

Health officials step up studies on COVID-19 mutations

Factory Workers in Industrial Estates Will Be Inoculated from July 9

BANGKOK (NNT) - A state-private partnership expects to start distributing Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccines to factory workers in five industrial estates and a deep-sea port in Map Ta Phut on July 9, with a target of 1,000 inoculations per day.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's industries sentiment dropped for a second straight month in May, hitting an 11-month low, due to a third wave of coronavirus infections and a slow vaccine rollout, an industries group said on Tuesday.

1 million more Sinovac doses to arrive in Thailand this Thursday

Permanent Secretary of Thailand’s Public Health Ministry, Dr. Kiattiphum Wongrajit, said today (Tuesday) that this Thursday, 1 million more doses of Sinovac will be imported into Thailand, while there will be more AstraZeneca vaccines coming next Monday (June 14th), but the exact number of doses is yet to be confirmed.

Inoculation vans to tour Thailand vaccinating the elderly, bed-ridden, caretakers

A caravan of COVID-19 inoculation vans, from the Public Health Ministry, began inoculating people over 60, bed-ridden patients and their caretakers in Bangkok today (Tuesday), before going on to tour the country to inoculate the vulnerable on Friday.

Thai hospitals instructed not to postpone vaccination appointments – DPHM

Hospitals in Thailand have been instructed to keep vaccination appointments, even though they may have received fewer doses of vaccine than expected, especially for people over 60 and those suffering from any of seven non-communicable underlying diseases, Deputy Public Health Minister Satit Pitutacha told Thai PBS during the “Tob Jot” TV programme on Monday night.
