Good idea plus getting a local stray dog and BBQ it is possible even a more healthier option and safer. Plus it gets them of the streets. 

good recipe here, but for local tastes add more chilli, just to give that "extra bite"

Sure. Remember infections linked to frozen food? Perhaps the length of time from viral load to consumer would make the virus inactive but I wouldn't count on it.
